On 4 December 1999, the fortified enclosure of Dalt Vila (Ibiza), together with the Phoenician-Punic necropolis of Puig des Molins, the Phoenician settlement of Sa Caleta and the oceanic posidonia, were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO<\/em><\/p>\n

On 26 November 2024<\/strong>. Far from being empty, Ibiza still has plenty of life in winter. In fact, one of the most important events in the city will take place on the 4th of December, just before the December long weekend.<\/p>\n

On that date, the 25th anniversary of the declaration of Dalt Vila as a UNESCO World Heritage Site will be celebrated. The fortified enclosure of Dalt Vila was built in the 16th century under the reign of Philip II. Can Lluc Boutique Country Hotel & Villas<\/a>\u00a0is a beautiful boutique hotel with 25 rooms (of which 14 are private villas), which opened its doors in 2003 in an old farmhouse with more than 300 years of history. A family project by Tina Soriano and Lucas Prats, which sought to pay homage to the latter’s grandfather, Jos\u00e9 Prats Costa, by creating a hotel that would show the most authentic Ibiza. A rural Ibiza that connects with the sea through the views from its viewpoint, and its proximity to the Bay of San Antonio; and that invites you to enjoy the Mediterranean giving off unmistakable aromas of pine, fig and jasmine.

Can Lluc Country Hotel & Villas was remodelled by the Ibicencan architect Jos\u00e9 Torres, who spent 3 years renovating the old farmhouse and converted areas where hens, pigeons and mules used to be kept into sophisticated rooms that maintain the artistic style of the island.

The initial interior design project was carried out by the decoration studio Aixut Alvarado, while this was completed by the interior designers of Farr\u00e9 & Costa. In addition, the restorer Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Velasco was in charge of the restoration of some of the existing furniture such as boots, walks, farm implements, doors and windows.

Finally, it is worth mentioning the preservation of paintings by well-known local painters such as Pomar, Marta Torres or Ferrer Guasch, among other artists.

In addition to 11 rooms in the main building, Can Lluc has 14 private villas, some of which are equipped with a private infinity pool that offers its residents the best Ibizan sunsets.

Another of Can Lluc’s distinguishing features is its ability to combine romantic stays for couples with fun family holidays.
